“Do not upload any photos on SNS” – a bizarre request from a restaurant Baeksook Sikdang… what could be the reason

In a photo posted on a social networking service (SNS), a restaurant putting tables and chairs in a valley to sell pork belly and other dishes demanded that the photo not be uploaded. On August 18th, a posting on the online community ‘Bobae Dream’ featured a banner saying ‘Please don’t upload photos on SNS’ in the vicinity of the restaurant. The author of the post, Mr. A, mentioned a restaurant in Chungbuk that had a sign saying ‘Please don’t upload photos on SNS’ and described it as a place where you can eat pork belly and samgyeopsal at a table set up in a valley. According to A, the restaurant seems to have been reported to the national petition platform for running an illegal operation in the valley. As per the local government, the restaurant is currently undergoing administrative procedures for violating food hygiene regulations by setting up seating areas outside the area designated in the business registration and not making the required change report. Additionally, in accordance with the Small Watercourse Repair Act, an order for restoration to the original state will be implemented, and failure to comply will result in legal action according to related regulations. A reported that the restaurant continued its operation even after the restoration order. Reviews praising the restaurant’s concept and the experience of dipping feet in the cool valley water were found recently. A sarcastically referred to the restaurant as a “hotspot” that diligently violated food hygiene and small watercourse repair laws, suggesting that the penalty might just be a matter of paying fines and fees. A expressed skepticism, stating that the restaurant reopened promptly after the administrative action without proper verification.
