Minister Yoon Ho-jung, head of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters (also the Minister of the Interior and Safety), announced on the 6th that all government systems affected by the fire at the Daejeon National Information Resources Service, which relate to the safety and lives of the public, have been fully restored.

During a meeting held at the Sejong government complex on the 6th, Minister Yoon stated that, as the restoration has entered visible progress, the disaster alert level for the administrative information system will be downgraded from ‘Severe’ to ‘Alert’ starting today.

As a result, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters will be dissolved, and the response system will transition to the Vice-Minister level Crisis Management Headquarters.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, as of 6 a.m. on this day, 676 out of 709 administrative information systems affected by the September fire have been restored, achieving a recovery rate of 95.3%.
