Park Eun-jung of the People’s Innovation Party, who questioned who paid for the hair styling and the watch. Kim explained, “In the case of the hairstyle, a stylist came to the Constitutional Court” and further remarked, “This is permitted even in previous instances where politicians appear on screen.”

Rep. Park questioned the necessity of such styling for an accused in an insurrection case and the purpose of accessories like watches and wigs. To which Acting Minister Kim replied that they have strictly adhered to related regulations.

Rep. Park further questioned, “While receiving an impeachment trial, the defendant (President Yoon) doesn’t enter the Constitutional Court or the detention center, but instead remains in the waiting area. What happens in the waiting room?” She also added uncertainty on whether his meals come from the detention center or the Constitutional Court. Kim responded, “There is no difference in food compared to other detainees.”

Jeong Cheong-rae, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, noted that the media raised concerns about “imperial treatment” and stated, “If any rules are violated, there will be consequences. Ensure checks are conducted, adhering to regulations.” Kim responded that efforts are being made to comply with related regulations.
