On the afternoon of the 15th, around 10:32 p.m., a car fell over on an external road in the parking lot of the Ulsan Jung-gu Police Station. According to the Ulsan Police Station, a man in his 50s, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, was involved in an accident where he and his car fell into the police station premises. The incident occurred as the man suddenly turned the steering wheel while driving along the road adjacent to the Ulsan Police Station in Seongandong, Ulsan Jung-gu, and ended up falling down to the police station parking lot about 4 meters below.
Upon the occurrence of the accident, the duty officer at the Ulsan Police Station immediately reported to 112 and 119. Police who arrived at the scene conducted a breathalyzer test on the man, which showed that his blood alcohol level exceeded the legal limit for driving, leading to the cancellation of his driver’s license.
As a result of this accident, roadside trees and the internal CCTV support structure of the police station were damaged. The police have filed charges against the man for violation of the Road Traffic Act and are currently investigating the case.
