A sculpture is set up at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Nevada, USA, on the 5th (local time), in preparation for the opening of CES 2026, the world’s largest consumer electronics and information technology (IT) exhibition.
Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 5th that 29 companies from the province will participate in CES 2026, which opens on the 6th. The province has set up the Gyeongbuk Pavilion at the LVCC to support promising companies in showcasing their technologies and products and attracting investment.
Participating companies aim to explore possibilities for entering the global market and actively seek opportunities for collaboration with overseas companies and institutions. The local companies have won a total of five innovation awards, including two top innovation awards. Deep Fusion AI (4D imaging radar-based autonomous driving system) and City5 (AI-based wearable device) received the top innovation awards.
The innovation awards were won by Humonics (connected robot training platform), High Bo (iLiDAR-based detection solution), and The Keeper (early electric vehicle fire detection and response system).
The Gyeongbuk Province delegation, including Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Yang Geum-hee, plans to visit participating companies, encourage related personnel, and tour major booths of domestic and international companies to observe the technological trends in future industries such as AI, mobility, and robotics.
The province is preparing a support system covering all stages from technology development to global market entry, including linking investors, technology commercialization, and marketing, to foster CES participating companies.
Yang Geum-hee, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, stated, “We will actively support the enhancement of international competitiveness of local companies by assisting in global exhibition participation and fostering new industries based on AI and digital technology.”
