Chairman Woo Won-sik: “Speed up the construction of the National Assembly Sejong Campus… Fully respond to the climate crisis”

, ‘Regarding the Sejong Hall, Speaker Woo mentioned, “The formation of the Sejong Hall Construction Committee will be completed soon,” and added, “We plan to push for the construction of a symbolic building that achieves carbon neutrality through energy independence, by deciding on advice, design, and construction methods for the overall project.”‘,

, ‘He further explained, “As it is a project symbolizing national balanced development, we will gather various opinions while proceeding with a sense of urgency.”‘,

, ‘Speaker Woo also announced plans to establish a comprehensive response system within the National Assembly for issues affecting people’s lives and future issues, including climate crisis responses, low birth rates, unfairness, and digital transformation.’,

, ‘The plan is to establish control towers for each issue to research policy directions and support the legislative activities of lawmakers, ensuring that policy support functions are not dispersed or duplicated across departments.’,
