Krafton Chairman Byung-kyu Jang served as a speaker at the ‘2024 Scholar Mentoring Special Lecture’ hosted by the Korean Academy of Engineering on the 22nd, giving a lecture on the theme of ‘AMA’. The Scholar Mentoring Special Lecture is a program held annually by the Korean Academy of Engineering, inviting prominent leaders in the engineering and technology field from academia and industry. This year, Chairman Jang, who became a regular member of the Academy of Engineering, spoke at the event. The event targets university students majoring in engineering and graduate students. Speakers share their career experiences, expertise in their respective fields, and future visions with the next generation of engineering leaders, aiming to provide practical advice and insights on career paths. Chairman Jang talked about the importance of transitioning to high value-added industries and the significance of nurturing outstanding talents to lead the paradigm shift in the Korean industry. Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of diverse cultural experiences to develop necessary competencies for becoming global talents when answering students’ questions during the Q&A session.
