Yesterday morning, a boat carrying two brothers in their 40s who came to fish in a reservoir in Anseong and a 60-year-old fishing site owner, Mr. A, overturned.
The two brothers in their 40s had been fishing on a floating scaffold since the night of the 17th, and it was initially investigated that the fishing site owner went to pick them up by boat, leading to the accident.
The younger brother quickly managed to get to shore, but Mr. A and the older brother are still missing.
Rescue workers conducting the search operation for the second day until yesterday fought against muddy water, floating debris, and struggled.
The operation continued with heavy equipment being used to lift the debris brought to the shore by boats from the water.
Underwater search was difficult as visibility was so poor that even the palm of the hand in front of the face could not be seen clearly.
Instead, underwater search specialist rescue dogs, drones, and sonar detectors were deployed.
