CJ Korea Express strengthens its logistics capabilities through a cross-border alliance with partners in Korea, the United States, and Japan.

CJ Korea Express announced on the 29th that it is accelerating its expansion of cross-border logistics business by exporting products from Korean sellers to overseas through partnerships with local representative logistics companies in the United States and Japan.

CJ Korea Express is strengthening its cross-border logistics business by establishing a network that connects export customs clearance, forwarding, and local delivery in one go, focusing on transnational logistics operations.

In the case of the United States, CJ Korea Express transports goods through air forwarding to airports such as Los Angeles International Airport and New York JFK International Airport, where multiple local partners like FedEx are responsible for delivery.

In Japan, local top 1 and 2 courier companies that have signed delivery contracts with CJ Korea Express deliver cross-border goods arriving at airports like Tokyo Narita Airport to customers.

In Southeast Asia, when CJ Korea Express sends out goods, local logistics companies such as Ninja Van from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand handle customs clearance and delivery services.

According to Statistics Korea, the total sales volume of cross-border e-commerce, which refers to “online overseas direct sales” last year, exceeded 16 trillion won. Among this, the United States accounted for 228.1 billion won, Japan 226.7 billion won, and ASEAN countries 90.8 billion won.
