[Sports Chosun Reporter Jo Min-jung] Was it not a period of ‘self-restraint’? Composer and broadcaster Yoo Jae-hwan, who caused a controversy over sexual harassment and composer fraud allegations, is suspected of approaching civilians under the guise of ‘music collaboration’ through his own personal account. On the morning of the 29th, several people claimed to have received DMs (Direct Messages) from Yoo Jae-hwan on a certain SNS channel. They revealed the DMs they received through Yoo Jae-hwan’s account, saying, “We thought you were in self-restraint. Is this really him?” Another account also shared messages they received from an account suspected to be Yoo Jae-hwan’s, asking, “Is this the person who is in self-restraint?” and posting a screenshot of the message they received.

The account suspected to be Yoo Jae-hwan sent messages to these individuals, saying, “You are so beautiful!” “You are very pretty! Have you ever thought about writing lyrics? I make music. I asked because I think it would be fun to work on music together. Please contact me if you are interested. You can also sing.” The netizens who saw these posts showed reactions like “Amazing,” “Seems like he really can’t get his mind straight,” and “I can’t understand.”
It has not been confirmed whether these DMs were actually sent by Yoo Jae-hwan. However, given that the full text of the posts refuting and explaining the SBS ‘Curious Stories Y’ broadcast aired on the 17th is still posted on this account, the possibility of it being actually Yoo Jae-hwan himself is strong.
