Canon Korea has unveiled two new products in its home inkjet printer series, PIXMA TS, on the 27th. The PIXMA TS series is an all-in-one inkjet printer that can print, copy, and scan, providing the optimal work environment for users who work from home, such as telecommuters and freelancers. The new products come in two colors: black (TS3690) and white (TS3691), with a sleek design measuring approximately 435x327x145mm. They feature a grid design pattern that is resistant to fingerprints and scratches, adding to the overall sophistication.
The output speed of the two new models is up to 7.7 pages per minute for black and white and 4 pages per minute for color printing, with support for up to 60 sheets of rear paper loading. They officially support printing of government-issued documents for easy printing of certificates and the like. The printers also come with improved wireless network connectivity supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, along with robust security features for a stable user experience. Additionally, they offer a “borderless printing” feature for photo printing, allowing for sharp prints up to the edges without white margins.
By installing the Canon Inkjet dedicated app, Canon Print App, users can easily connect their smartphones for photo and document printing, while iOS users can print wirelessly using Apple AirPrint without installing additional apps. Moreover, users can download various contents or create personalized prints such as collages, calendars, and posters using apps like Creative Park, PosterArtist, and Easy PhotoPrint Editor. Through PIXMA Cloud Print, users can print documents and photos using cloud services on their smart devices.
The PIXMA TS series uses wood fiber (pulp) as the raw material for paper in its refill cartridges, reducing the use of plastic, and incorporates recycled plastic into some of the main components, making it an eco-friendly product that has earned the Energy Star Version 3.0 certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Canon Korea’s CEO, Park Jeong-woo, mentioned that the new PIXMA TS series focuses on enhancing user convenience for telecommuters and students working from home. He stated that Canon Korea will consistently introduce the best inkjet all-in-one printers to improve the work efficiency of home office users.
