Editor’s Note = The term ‘cultural property’ that has been widely used as legal and administrative terminology for the past 60 years will be replaced with a new name and classification system starting on the 17th. Ahead of the enforcement of the ‘National Heritage Basic Act’ that reflects policy environment changes and addresses limitations, we provide an overview of the changing content, organizational restructuring, expert suggestions, etc. in three parts.
