**The Last Crown Prince of the Pahlavi Dynasty: “Ready to Govern Iran Immediately Upon Its Collapse”**
Amid rumors regarding the health of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, the Iranian government has denied these claims, asserting that the leader is in good health.
According to Fox News on the 15th (local time), Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview with the Arab media outlet Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that “the Supreme Leader is in very healthy condition and is in full control of all situations.”
Mojtaba succeeded his father, former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who passed away on the 28th of last month due to a U.S. and Israeli airstrike. However, since taking office, he has not appeared in public and has only issued messages to the nation in writing, leading to widespread speculation about his whereabouts and health.
U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned in an interview with NBC News the previous day, “I’ve heard he might not be alive, but if he is, he should make a smart choice for the country, and that is to surrender.”
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently suggested in a briefing that Mojtaba might be injured and his appearance might be compromised.
In the midst of this, Reza Pahlavi, the last crown prince of the Pahlavi dynasty, who fled to the U.S. following the 1979 Iranian Islamic Revolution, stated on the 14th on X (formerly Twitter) that he is ready to take on the administration of Iran immediately upon its collapse.
Pahlavi added, “To prevent any gap in governance after the collapse of the Islamic Republic (Iran), efforts have been made over the past several months,” and said they have been “identifying and evaluating capable talents from inside and outside of the country to lead each sector of the transitional regime.” He also stated, “I will establish order, security, and freedom in the shortest possible time and create conditions for Iran’s prosperity and advancement.”
