Trump expects “Iran war to end within 4 weeks”… 3 US soldiers killed and says “it could happen again”

**Trump’s First Official Acknowledgement of U.S. Casualties in Iran Conflict**

In an interview with the Daily Mail, President Donald Trump officially acknowledged for the first time the deaths of three U.S. military personnel during the ongoing military conflict with Iran. He forecasted that the conflict could continue for approximately four weeks, leaving open the possibility of further casualties.

During his interview from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, President Trump expressed his condolences, stating, “They were great people. Unfortunately, these things can happen, and it may happen again.” The identities of the deceased soldiers have not been disclosed. These casualties are the first under Trump’s second term, with no fatalities reported during previous operations earlier in the year.

President Trump claimed that the ongoing military operations are proceeding according to plan, stating that they had successfully targeted Iran’s leadership, estimating the removal of around 48 members, surpassing initial expectations.

While predicting a four-week duration for the military operations, Trump emphasized the possibility of a shorter timeframe, noting Iran’s substantial size as a country. Despite the ongoing military efforts, Trump mentioned the possibility of future negotiations with Iran if they express a desire to engage in talks, although he noted they should have done so last week.

The President is considering delivering a speech to the nation, as he receives updates from generals on the situation. Earlier, he disclosed the airstrike on Iran via Truth Social on February 28.

Furthermore, Trump reported communications with leaders from Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Jordan. Regarding Saudi military involvement, he mentioned they are engaged in the conflict.

On the subject of contacting the families of the fallen soldiers, Trump confirmed that his team has reached out and that he would meet with the families at an appropriate time. He suggested the possibility of attending a ceremony at Dover Air Force Base or inviting the families to the White House.

Regarding potential political changes in Iran following the military conflict, Trump expressed optimism about the possibility of positive developments and the establishment of democracy in the region.
