EastSoft (047560) announced on the 25th that it recorded an operating loss of approximately 19 billion KRW last year, marking a 40.85% increase in its deficit compared to the previous year. The company’s revenue rose by 4.23% during the same period, reaching 106.8 billion KRW. The net loss for the period expanded by 44.14% to 21 billion KRW.
EastSoft stated, “Revenues in certain business sectors increased due to the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) software, educational services, and the launch of new games.” However, they explained, “Operating profits decreased due to increased costs from business expansion and AI infrastructure development, as well as the expansion of variable costs like fees, advertising, and promotional expenses.”
