“28,500 People Visit ‘Silla Gold Crown’ Exhibition… Sold Out Despite Daily Limit of 2,500 Visitors”

Over 280,000 people visited the National Gyeongju Museum to see the Silla crowns gathered together for the first time in over 100 years.

According to the National Gyeongju Museum, the special exhibition “Silla Crowns: Power and Prestige,” which concluded on the 22nd, attracted a total of 285,401 visitors.

A museum representative explained, “Even though entry was limited to 150 people per session and 2,550 people per day, all sessions were sold out due to high interest.”

The exhibition, which began public viewing in November last year, garnered attention by showcasing six Silla crowns and six gold belts together for the first time since they were first discovered approximately 104 years ago.
