[Financial News] Kakao announced on the 11th that it has launched the “Kakao Daily AI Forum” in collaboration with 13 industry and academic experts representing the domestic AI field. Through regular presentations and discussions among these experts, the forum aims to explore solutions and action plans regarding the trends in AI technology and services, as well as current issues and challenges in each area.
The forum will engage in in-depth discussions on the impact of AI on everyday life, industrial changes, and the practical challenges that need to be addressed in the process. As it brings together experts from startups, academia, and related industries, it’s expected that discussions will focus on practical alternatives based on rich field experience. Kakao’s tech leaders will also participate in the forum to strengthen the connection with Kakao’s AI technology and services.
Participants in the Kakao Daily AI Forum include Deokjin Kim, Head of IT Communication Research Institute; Dokyun Kim, CEO of DALPA; Seungil Kim, CEO of Modum Science; Jong-yoon Kim, CEO of Scatter Lab; Jungseok Noh, CEO of Bfactory; Kyuhyun Shim, CEO of LERCE; Sooyeon Ryu, CEO of Nation A; Yunseol Eom, CEO of Arobot; Dongseon Jang, Head of Future Exploration Community; Jihoon Chung, General Partner at Asia2G Capital; and Jaesik Choi, CEO of INNIJ. From Kakao, Byunghak Kim, Chief of KANANA, and Sewoong Kim, Chief of AI Synergy, are participating.
Kakao held its first forum session on November 10, under the theme “Agentic AI.” Jungseok Noh, CEO of Bfactory, presented on the “Evolution of Individual Businesses in the AI Era,” and Kyuhyun Shim, CEO of LERCE, discussed “Organizational Structures Changing with Agentic AI.” Sewoong Kim, Kakao’s Chief of AI Synergy, followed with a presentation on “The Transition to Agentic AI: A New Beginning in Platform Strategy.”
Forum attendees expressed, “It was meaningful to engage in serious and practical discussions about the changing daily life and industrial ecosystem with AI. We hope to find a fast and positive way for AI to fit into the public’s lives collectively.”
A Kakao representative stated, “Through the forum, we aim to share experiences and insights based on various real cases in the field. With experts from different areas of AI present, we will collectively explore the directions for AI innovation that our society and industrial sectors should aim for, along with specific implementation plans.”
