Baek Ji-won expressed anger, stating, “It’s disgusting that someone contacted me wanting to conduct brain experiments after seeing ‘I Want to Know’.”

Baek Ji-won, the former spokesperson for the People Power Party, expressed anger after revealing that she had been contacted by SBS’s “Unanswered Questions” with a request implying a desire to “experiment on her brain.” On the 5th, Baek shared her displeasure on social media, describing the contact as an “insult disguised as politeness,” and criticized the program for trying to make her a subject of analysis in a show that covers criminal cases.

Baek further expressed her disgust over the audacity of the proposal, mentioning that she was used to the totalitarian oppression from left-leaning media but was repulsed by being treated like a laboratory monkey. She criticized the attitude towards conservative supporters, describing it as discriminatory and violently dismissive, likening it to the treatment of germs.

She stated her strong displeasure at being objectified and treated like a criminal on a show that deals with crime, despite being a respectable young politician who has received support from peers without any political faction backing her. She vowed to continue standing up confidently against what she perceived as the establishment’s violent attempt to distort and confine their voices within a biased narrative.

In response, representatives from “Unanswered Questions” explained that the experiment aimed to explore reasons why political discussions have become taboo even in close relationships, due to political opinion clashes. They refuted claims of attempting to disparage or attack specific politicians or political views, stating that this was not the case.
