Kim Hak-rae reveals his last conversation with the late Jeon Yoo-seong: “Alright, let’s meet there.”

[Sports Chosun Reporter Park A-ram] Comedian Kim Hak-rae reminisced about the late Jeon Yoo-seong and shared their last conversation.

On the September 30th broadcast of the KBS1 special program ‘10,000th Episode Planning Morning Meeting with Viewers’, Kim Hak-rae expressed his longing for his fellow comedian and “father of comedy,” Jeon Yoo-seong.

On the program, creator Kim Do-yoon revealed that he decided to appear on ‘Morning Meeting’ for his father, who was battling illness, but sadly, he passed away ten days ago, evoking sympathy.

In response, Kim Hak-rae recalled, “We also sent off Jeon Yoo-seong, who was called the father of comedians, to heaven the day before yesterday.”

Kim Hak-rae shared, “The last conversation I had with him was, ‘Hyung, there’s not much difference. We’ll be going soon too.’ And he replied, ‘Yeah, let’s meet there,’ and then he just left,” conveying his heavy-hearted feelings.

He added, “I am truly grateful to the entire nation for mourning with us. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude.”

The late Jeon Yoo-seong passed away at 9:05 PM on the 25th, while battling pneumothorax at Jeonbuk National University Hospital.
