Jang Dong-hyuk criticized the National Intelligence Resource Management Agency fire, stating, “The lax management practices that should never have happened have caused a significant crisis in public life and cyber security.”

During an on-site Supreme Council meeting held in Incheon today (29th), Jang pointed out, “While the Lee Jae-myung administration is focused on judicial destruction and legislative dictatorship, serious gaps are emerging in people’s livelihoods.”

Jang emphasized, “First, it is most important to find out the cause of the fire, and secondly, to restore it as quickly as possible,” and urged the government to thoroughly investigate the cause of the fire and come up with measures to prevent its recurrence.

He also mentioned the ‘Jaemulpo Renaissance,’ a project to revive the original downtown of Incheon, saying, “It will change the face of the old downtown of Incheon and serve as a springboard for the advancement of Incheon and South Korea,” and promised unwavering support to ensure the redevelopment project of Incheon Port’s inner harbor ushers in a second golden era.

Regarding the underground project for the Gyeongin Line, he stated, “It is a key task to enhance Incheon’s competitiveness,” and pledged to support the inclusion of the Gyeongin Line in the comprehensive railway undergrounding plan, committing the party to take a central and pivotal role in coordination among the Incheon, Seoul, and Gyeonggi regions.

Before the on-site Supreme Council meeting, Jang and the leadership of the People Power Party paid respects at the MacArthur statue in Jayu Park, Incheon.
