[Financial News] KT announced on the 4th that it held a job fair with 400 students from the 7th cohort of ‘AIVLE School’ and KT group companies and startups looking to hire, at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Songpa-gu, Seoul. AIVLE School is KT’s representative practical artificial intelligence (AI) talent training program.
At the event, major KT affiliates including BC Card, KT Cloud, KT SAT, and KT SPORTS participated, along with promising AI companies such as Marsys (global set-top box manufacturer), Allganize (large language model solution), and EzAi (industrial AI solutions). They engaged with graduates, recruiting for diverse roles such as AI solutions development, data analysis, planning, finance, and marketing utilizing AI.
Recognizing the importance of nurturing AI talent, KT has continually enhanced its curriculum to integrate practical field know-how. Starting with the 7th cohort, KT has reinforced capabilities in AI and cloud-based service development and consulting, and introduced a self-directed learning system where each student sets their own employment portfolio goals.
Additionally, graduates are given opportunities to participate in real AI projects, including the experiential intern programs like the Palantir project, allowing them to experience the same environment as current professionals in media and data fields.
A participating student at the event said, “After consulting directly with various company representatives at the job fair, I realized that even amidst an overall contraction in the job market due to economic downturn, AI and cloud-based capabilities are being prioritized as key conditions in the hiring process.”
A recruitment officer from a company attending the event for the third time said, “The graduates we hired from AIVLE School quickly adapted to our organization and exceeded expectations in projects. AIVLE School graduates have outstanding problem-solving and collaboration skills based on diverse project experiences.”
Since the first cohort graduated in 2022, AIVLE School graduates have been leading AI-based digital transformations in over 500 companies.
