LG Electronics to Strengthen ‘AI Home’ Business and Target European B2B Market [IFA 2025]

**LG Electronics Expands Presence in Europe with AI Appliances at IFA 2025**

Starting from September 5th, LG Electronics will participate in Europe’s largest appliance exhibition, ‘IFA 2025,’ in Berlin, Germany. The company plans to unveil its ‘LG AI Home’ solution, which signifies the start of a new chapter for the company’s AI-driven smart home initiatives.

This year, LG has dedicated half of its 3,745 square meter exhibition space (1,762 square meters) as a B2B customer consultation area, marking the largest exhibition they have hosted to date. They aim to expand their influence in Europe by showcasing 25 new AI appliance models optimized for European lifestyles, in a market considered the largest for premium appliances alongside North America.

The exhibition’s theme is ‘LG AI Appliances Orchestra.’ A large media wall measuring 20 meters wide serves as the backdrop, with 21 AI appliances arranged like an orchestra, symbolizing the harmony created by the ‘LG ThinQ ON,’ the hub for central control within the AI Home. The exhibition zone is divided into various sections: AI Home Solution Zone, AI Mobility Space Solution Zone, AI CoreTech Zone, and Fit & Max Zone, where visitors can experience the differentiated AI technology integrated into LG’s appliances.

The AI Home Solution Zone allows for an interactive experience with ‘LG ThinQ ON,’ set for release within the year. This includes features like AI-assisted recipe recommendations and voice control to adjust lighting and temperature. Demonstrations of services such as ‘ThinQ Up’ for continuous AI feature upgrades and ‘ThinQ Care’ for easy appliance maintenance will also be available.

Notably, LG will present new AI appliances tailored for Europe, while products like the ‘LG Signature OLED T,’ the world’s first wireless and transparent TV, which was introduced in North America last year, will also be unveiled.

The AI Mobility Space Solution will display a futuristic concept vehicle, ‘Spielraum,’ demonstrating cross-functionality with LG’s home appliances. Visitors can explore how LG ThinQ ON can preheat the oven in the vehicle or monitor energy usage, and control home appliances remotely from the car.

LG Electronics aims to provide tailored value through differentiated products and solutions, reflecting the evolving needs for high-efficiency appliances and AI home solutions in the European market, according to Jae-cheol Ryu, head of LG Electronics’ Home Solutions Division.
