Applications Open from the 8th to the 28th – Choose One Company Among Six Group Subsidiaries
[Seoul=Newsis] Kakao Group announced on the 3rd that it will conduct open recruitment for new crew members for the year 2026, starting from the 8th. This is the first time in the company’s history that a group-wide recruitment is taking place across all fields, including tech, service, business, design, and staff. The goal is to actively secure top talent suitable for the AI era at the group level, beyond individual subsidiaries.
Kakao Group will accept applications for new crew (employees) open recruitment from the 8th to the 28th, as announced on the 3rd.
The first group recruitment includes participation from six major subsidiaries: ▲Kakao ▲Kakao Games ▲Kakao Mobility ▲Kakao Bank ▲Kakao Entertainment ▲Kakao Pay. Applicants can choose to apply to only one of these companies.
Kakao explained that the purpose of this recruitment is to select ‘AI-native’ talents who are accustomed to using AI technology to create new value. Contrary to concerns that AI expansion will decrease entry-level hiring, they expect that the younger generation, who have been exposed to new technologies early on, will be the driving force of innovation.
Applications can be submitted through each company’s recruitment page starting from the 8th. The integrated recruitment website provides an insight into the talent profiles that Kakao Group seeks. The website also links to each company’s recruitment page, where applicants can learn about the corporate culture, work style, and hear experiences from senior crew members. Information on benefits, development environment, and various programs supporting career growth is also available.
The recruitment process will proceed in the following order: ▲Document screening ▲Coding test (limited to tech positions, conducted alongside document screening) ▲Interview. Interviews are scheduled to take place in November, and the final selected candidates will join the company in January next year. As this is a group-wide recruitment, the introductory training will also be conducted collectively.
