KIND obtained the ISO 37001 certification, an international anti-bribery standard.

[Financial News] The Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) announced on the 8th that it has obtained certification for the international standard ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System) from the Korea Management Certification Institute. This certification recognizes the agency’s system for preventing, detecting, and responding to corruption.

ISO 37001 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) concerning anti-bribery and ethical management. It evaluates and certifies companies based on their efforts and capabilities in managing and mitigating corruption risks.

KIND has been praised for expanding regular audits and implementing a consulting audit system, which has allowed the organization to address potential corruption factors in the course of its operations while enhancing communication.

KIND president Kim Bok-hwan stated, “KIND is working on overseas projects in collaboration with multilateral development banks, foreign governments, institutional investors, and other stakeholders. This certification is a significant achievement, recognizing our commitment to integrity and transparent management.”

In addition, KIND is promoting a culture of integrity and proactive administration by implementing the ‘Integrity Mileage System’, which encourages voluntary and active integrity activities among its employees, and the ‘Proactive Administrative Immunity System’, which ensures employees can carry out legitimate duties without undue hesitation.
