Kakao has fostered 131 practical developers through its partnership program.
Kakao announced on the 4th that it held the ‘KakaoTech Bootcamp’ 2nd graduation ceremony on the 1st and shared the educational outcomes aimed at nurturing future tech talents.
The KakaoTech Bootcamp is a partnership program focused on cultivating developers who can be immediately deployed in practical settings. The 2nd batch was run for about seven months since last January, featuring a practice-oriented curriculum. It comprised three courses: AI practical development, full stack, and cloud native. Trainees gained real-world experience through about 1000 hours of online and offline lectures and collaborative projects.
Including the 131 graduates from this 2nd batch, Kakao has produced a total of 550 tech talents to date. It plans to nurture a cumulative total of 1000 practical developers by next year.
Kwon Dae-yeol, ESG Committee Chair of the Kakao CA Council, stated, “The KakaoTech Bootcamp is a practical IT education program that actively incorporates Kakao’s development culture and collaboration methods,” and added, “We will continue to advance it as an educational model that not only leads the AI era by nurturing technology talents to drive the future but also realizes Kakao’s value of partnership.”
