Actress Lee Ha-nee will not attend the press conference for ‘Aema’, which was expected to be her first official appearance since the tax evasion controversy.
On the 4th, the Netflix original ‘Aema’ team announced that Lee Ha-nee will not attend the press conference scheduled for the 18th. They stated, “Lee Ha-nee will participate in the event via a non-face-to-face voice call at the beginning of the event” and requested understanding due to the actress’s personal circumstances.
This event was seen as the first opportunity for Lee Ha-nee to address the controversy regarding the 6 billion won tax penalty since it arose in March. Although she attended the Baeksang Arts Awards in May while pregnant with her second child, she did not mention the controversy when she appeared on stage as a presenter.
