, ‘During the highest-level committee meeting held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, Kim stated, “Economic punishment which penalizes illegal economic matters is actually a legacy of past military dictatorship regimes,” adding, “Most countries sanction such issues through civil compensation responsibility.” ‘,

, ‘Kim noted, “Business people express concern over breaches of trust itself but fear more the prosecution’s overuse of it,” emphasizing, “Although the courts limit the establishment of breach of trust charges on matters made through managerial decisions by boards, the prosecution has often pressed’ those charges excessively.”’,

, ‘He continued, “Recognizing these issues, the Ministry of Justice provided guidelines to the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office to prevent the abuse of investigations and indictments for breaches of trust,” and mentioned that “President Lee Jae-myung has ordered institutional improvements regarding the abusive issue that undermines corporate activities. The National Assembly has also recognized this as a serious issue and has built close cooperation with the government on it.” ‘,
