Suwon City Operates ‘Task Force for Economic Recovery with Consumer Coupons’

**Suwon Special City Mayor Lee Jae-jun Urges to Ensure No Inconvenience in Applying for Consumer Coupons**

Suwon Special City is operating the “Livelihood Recovery Consumer Coupon Task Force” to facilitate the smooth application of consumer coupons.

The task force, dedicated to distributing the livelihood recovery consumer coupons which began operations on the 11th, is headed by First Deputy Mayor Kim Hyun-soo. It is composed of the following divisions: General Management, Review and Decision, Payment Management, Business Support, Information and Communication Support, Project Promotion, and Civil Complaints Response. The business support and review investigation teams are operating in the four districts, while the promotion teams are running in 44 administrative welfare centers.

The livelihood recovery consumer coupons provide 150,000 to 500,000 won to all citizens. Applications must be submitted at the local government office corresponding to one’s registered address as of June 18.

The coupons can be received via credit/debit card, prepaid card, or Suwon Pay, and offline applications are also available.

Proactively, Suwon City has secured 100,000 prepaid cards by signing a contract with Shinhan Card, readying for the consumer coupon distribution. Additionally, a “visiting application service” will be launched in August for elderly, disabled, and mobility-impaired residents.
