“Quietly Donating and Volunteering”… Lee Seung-gi, the ‘Angel of Good Deeds,’ Donates 790 Million Won

‘Singer Lee Seung-gi participated as the eighth runner in the “120th Anniversary of the Korean Red Cross × World Blood Donor Day Blood Donation Relay Campaign” on June 14th, supporting the value of life-sharing.’

‘Lee Seung-gi was appointed as an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross last January. Having established a connection during his high school days through the Red Cross Youth (RCY) activities, he has continued his sharing activities. In 2021, he donated 30 million won in scholarships for children and adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds. In 2023, he donated a total of 760 million won to the Korean Red Cross, including support for wildfire relief efforts on the East Coast, production costs for mobile meal vehicles, and blood donation buses.’

‘This blood donation relay campaign was planned to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Korean Red Cross and World Blood Donor Day on June 14th. Ambassadors of the Korean Red Cross participate in the relay format to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.’
