Lee Jae-myung, Kim Moon-soo, Lee Jun-seok, and Kwon Young-guk, major presidential candidates, will have their first TV debate the day after tomorrow (18th). Hosted by the Central Election Broadcast Debate Commission and held at the SBS Studio in Sangam, Seoul, from 8 PM to 10 PM, this debate marks the first four-way debate during the official election campaign period.
According to the Election Broadcast Debate Commission, the candidates participating are Lee Jae-myung from the Democratic Party, Kim Moon-soo from the People Power Party, Lee Jun-seok from the Reform Party, and Kwon Young-guk from the Democratic Labor Party.
The candidates will initially discuss strategies to overcome low growth and revitalize the people’s economy. The debate will follow a total time management system, with each candidate assigned 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Following this, the candidates will engage in policy verification debates on two topics: ‘Trade Strategy in the Trump Era’ and ‘Ways to Strengthen National Competitiveness’.
The candidates will participate in two more TV debates on the 23rd and 27th at the same time slot. All three debates will be broadcast live simultaneously on KBS, MBC, and SBS.
