[Reporter Kim Myung-sang from Edaily] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Jeju Tourism Organization announced on the 12th that they participated in the ‘2025 All That Travel’ expo held at COEX in Seoul from May 8 to 10, focusing on promoting tourism products centered around Jeju’s local brands.
The ‘2025 All That Travel’ is the largest travel expo in the country, highlighting the latest travel trends based on digital platforms. This year, approximately 300 booths were set up by travel startups, global investment firms, local governments, and public institutions to welcome visitors.
During the expo, Jeju Tourism Organization operated a joint promotional booth with local companies such as △Zero Point Trail (an outdoor community brand) △The Sound Bunker (a sound-based content company, formerly Sleeping Lion) △Color Lab Jeju (a color lifestyle specialized brand) △Jeju Aepongdang (a regional character development company) △Kareum Stay (a Jeju village travel platform).
Under the theme “Everything about Travel, Communicated through Local,” the Jeju joint promotional booth showcased distinctive content reflecting Jeju’s nature, culture, and lifestyle, attracting significant attention from visitors through on-site events. There was especially high interest in wellness content utilizing natural resources and regional stay-type village travel models.
Additionally, during the event, Jeju Tourism Organization participated in a 1:1 business connecting program with representatives from large enterprises, mid-sized companies, and public institutions to create collaboration opportunities for local businesses. Some companies made progress by setting up follow-up meetings, revealing possibilities for expansion of business in the future.
Jeju Tourism Organization plans to continue its collaboration with tourism startups and actively carry out promotional and market development activities to strengthen Jeju’s local content.
A representative from Jeju Tourism Organization stated, “This exhibition left a strong impression of Jeju’s local travel content not only on consumers in the metropolitan area but also on those in the travel industry,” and added, “The organization will continue to provide diverse support to expand local-based tourism businesses.”
