According to the legal community on the 7th, the legal team for candidate Lee submitted an application to change the trial date to the 7th Criminal Division of the Seoul High Court (presiding judge Lee Jae-kwon). The court has set the first trial date for Lee’s case on the 15th. The court will review the application for a change of the trial date and decide whether to reschedule or not. On the 5th, the Democratic Party urged the court to postpone the trial dates for all presidential candidates that coincide with the election campaign period until after the presidential election.
