Previously, Kang Ji-yong and Lee Da-eun appeared on JTBC’s ‘Divorce Deliberation Camp’ last February, where they talked about marital conflicts caused by financial issues with the in-laws.

After the sad news of Kang Ji-yong’s passing on the 22nd of last month, Lee Da-eun said, “I still love my husband. Even if given 10 billion won, I wouldn’t trade him for it. I’d give up all the money I have to get him back. I miss him so much,” expressing her longing for her late husband.

Additionally, on the 2nd, she disclosed a conversation via messenger that she had with her mother-in-law, which was a pivotal cause of their marital conflict. In response to her mother-in-law’s claim that “Ji-yong earned money before meeting you and secretly stood as guarantor without telling the parents, and took much more money himself,” Lee Da-eun countered, “Nothing your mother said is true. If Ji-yong told you that, I’d resent him forever, and if you’re lying, I won’t overlook it.”

She also stated, “If I lied about the family affairs, I will accept punishment. Conversely, if what your mother said is proven false, can she handle it?” She added, “I know acquaintances are watching (the account) and checking through a second account. Please don’t spread false information.”
