Singer Niel candidly opened up about the issue of his military enlistment.
Recently, Niel conducted a round interview commemorating the release of his fourth mini-album ‘SHE’ at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Before the start of the main interview, Niel addressed the press regarding his military service status. Born in 1994, Niel is well past the typical age for enlistment, yet there has been no public disclosure of enlistment plans or exemption status.
Niel’s fourth mini-album ‘SHE’ will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 22nd.
Departing slightly from Niel’s usual musical style, ‘SHE’ incorporates new attempts and is comprised of emotional songs based on neo-soul and groove pop, moving away entirely from the traditional Korean R&B style. Additionally, Niel candidly explores profound reflections and emotions about love, capturing overwhelming feelings that are difficult to handle.
The title track ‘SHE’ is characterized by a melody that alternates between restraint and explosive expression, enhancing its poignant atmosphere. The track features Niel’s deepened vocals and the flow of emotions that sweep across the quiet night, leaving a lasting impression.
