Actor Park Ha-na is facing a setback before her marriage as her fiancé, director Kim Tae-sool, lost his job.
On this day, the Sono team officially announced, “We have decided to dismiss Director Kim Tae-sool.” While thanking him for taking charge of the team during difficult times, the club stated that they have made this decision for the future of the players and the club.
Director Kim was appointed to his position on November 24 last year and is leaving the team in less than five months. His lack of experience in his debut season and the team’s poor performance contributed to the club’s decision.
The team led by Kim recorded 19 wins and 35 losses this season, placing 8th among 10 teams. After starting with 5 wins and 5 losses under former director Kim Seung-ki, the team only managed 14 wins and 30 losses following Kim Tae-sool’s appointment, with a win rate of 31.8%.
Kim, who was known as a ‘traditional point guard’ during his playing days, was recognized for his game management and passing skills. However, the team he led was composed of players with styles very different from his, resulting in a strategic clash and leading to criticism and protests from fans during the season.
