[Seoul Economy] Ruiten Technologies has announced its transition from generative AI to lifestyle AI while planning to officially launch ‘Ruiten 3.0’ this month. The company has expressed its ambition to provide customized AI services to 50 million people nationwide.

At a meeting held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul on the 8th, Ruiten CEO Lee Se-young stated, “Our vision and dream are to evolve from generative AI to a true lifestyle AI,” emphasizing the goal of becoming a daily service deeply rooted in people’s everyday lives.

Ruiten is a startup offering AI agent services utilizing global generative AI models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Their strategy involves providing a combination of several generative AI services for free. The ‘Ruiten 2.0’ service, launched in January 2023, surpassed 5 million monthly active users (MAU) by the end of last year.

The newly launched ‘Ruiten 3.0’ significantly enhances personalized features and boosts overall performance compared to previous versions. It also introduces a new ad-based revenue reward feature. Lee Dong-jae, the Chief Product Officer (CPO) who led the development of Ruiten 3.0, explained, “We have advanced personalization features to suit the era of ‘One Person, One AI’ and efficiently coordinated various large language models (LLMs) to greatly enhance performance,” adding that considerable effort has been made to enable users to enjoy real economic benefits through AI services.

Additionally, Ruiten revealed plans to launch the AI development framework ‘Agentica’ and the automation development tool ‘AutoView,’ aiming to usher in an era of democratized AI development by providing these solutions on an open-source basis. CEO Lee Se-young stated, “Our goal is to surpass 10 million MAU this year” and “to grow into the most beloved AI service by Koreans.”
