The conversation between Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron, along with additional photos and videos, has been released.
On the 2nd, GaSeYeon (a YouTube channel) livestreamed with the title “Shocking Exclusive: Real 1.8 million VS Fake 1 million (Revealing Kim Soo-hyun’s Foolish Act).” During the livestream, GaSeYeon stated, “We have completed forensic analysis after finding five phones, four laptops, and a tablet recently. We have all of Kim Soo-hyun’s phone numbers, but out of courtesy, we have mosaicked them.” They then released FaceTime and call logs between Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron.
GaSeYeon also revealed messages sent by Kim Sae-ron, saying, “When I needed you, you were always unreachable even though you’re easily contacted when you need me. If you won’t make an effort, I will stop seeing you.” The captured messages were from April 13, 2018, when Kim Sae-ron was a minor. Another person identified as unknown remarked, “You look cute, are you doing well? I’m out,” to which Kim Sae-ron responded, “Hello, I wanted to show you this,” and sent a capture of Kim Soo-hyun gaming at an internet cafe.
They also presented various KakaoTalk messages showing conflicts related to communication issues and affectionate exchanges between the two. Moreover, GaSeYeon asserted that a photo showing Kim Soo-hyun was taken by the late Kim Sae-ron when she was in her first year of high school, claiming the photo had metadata from September 20, 2017.
Regarding a previously released video of the two having dak-bokkeum-tang (spicy chicken stew), Gold Medalist (Kim Soo-hyun’s agency) claimed, “Kim Sae-ron visited Kim Soo-hyun on his leave, and his family was present. They were not in a romantic relationship.” Contrary to this, GaSeYeon questioned, “Why aren’t there other people’s meals, side dishes, spoons in sight?” They claimed to have all the metadata and accused, “Let’s not make ridiculous claims, you devil.”
GaSeYeon elaborated, “We stayed quiet to see how far the lies would go, but the metadata shows 11:20 PM. Who from the family was there?” They threatened to reveal videos showing if other family members were present by showing Kim Soo-hyun singing an OST from the drama ‘Moon Embracing the Sun.’
Furthermore, they contested Kim Soo-hyun’s claim about unclear family presence, highlighting a video allegedly shared by him described as “underwear and lingerie,” asserting there was no issue as Kim Sae-ron was an adult at the time. They stated, “We have the evidence of you sending it on Kim Sae-ron’s phone.”
With the claim of proving chats between Kim Sae-ron and her alleged cousin, live scrolling demonstrated their identical contents to those GaSeYeon showed.
GaSeYeon has asserted that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron were in a relationship from 2015 to 2021, which Kim Soo-hyun’s side denies, asserting the relationship was only from summer 2019 to fall 2020, after she reached adulthood.
GaSeYeon continued to release further revelations, including claims and video footage from Kim Sae-ron’s home. On March 27, a press conference was held with the late Kim Sae-ron’s family and legal representatives, discussing their stance and further evidence regarding their alleged underage relationship.
In a press conference three weeks after the revelations surfaced, Kim Soo-hyun stated, “I often receive excessive love and equally many misunderstandings. Things that are not true circulate as fact, but I considered that also to be my responsibility,” denying GaSeYeon’s claims.
Kim Soo-hyun has filed a legal complaint against GaSeYeon on behalf of the late Kim Sae-ron’s family.
