Exhibition of Modern Artworks in 4K Quality with The Frame and Neo QLED

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kang Tae-woo = Samsung Electronics participated in the world’s largest art fair to showcase the ‘Art TV Experience’.
According to the Samsung Electronics Newsroom on the 31st, Samsung Electronics held a digital art exhibition featuring the lifestyle TV ‘The Frame’, Neo QLED, and Micro LED at ‘Art Basel Hong Kong’ held from the 28th to the 30th in Hong Kong.
This year’s Art Basel Hong Kong saw participation from 240 galleries from 42 countries.
Notably, more than half of the galleries were based in the Asia-Pacific region, showcasing various exhibitions representing Asia’s cultural dynamism.
Samsung Electronics set up an ‘ArtCube’ booth in the partner lounge using five premium screens, including The Frame, Micro LED, and Neo QLED, to vividly deliver special artworks by Samsung Art Store artists in 4K quality under the concept ‘Journey to Art Beyond Boundaries’.
The Samsung Art Store is a subscription service that allows viewing approximately 3,000 pieces, including photos, illustrations, and works from renowned museums and galleries, in 4K quality on Samsung TVs.
Visitors to the ArtCube experienced works from five contemporary artists: Lee Kun-yong, Aerocene, Rex Maestrovic, Saya Woolfalk, Mark Dennis, and Jules de Balincourt.
Lee Heon, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business Division, stated, “As the official display partner and leading figure of Art TV at the world’s largest art fair, Art Basel, we will continue to strive to provide more customers with digital art experiences.”
