(Uijeongbu=News1) Reporter Lee Sang-hyul = The city of Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 3rd that it will support up to 2 million won per year in loan interest for rental deposits for youth without homes.
The city explained that it will implement the “Temporary Support Project for Loan Interest on Rental Deposits for Youth” to reduce the housing cost burden for young people and create a stable residential environment.
The support targets are young people aged 19-39 who do not own homes, are registered and actually reside in Uijeongbu. They must meet the following conditions: a rental deposit of 250 million won or less (with a usable area of 85㎡ or less), household income below 180% of the median income, all household members must not own homes, and the loan purpose must be stated for rental funds. They must also have a payment history of loan interest for more than 3 months.
The application period is from the 4th to the 31st.
The city will support loan interest up to 2% of the rental deposit loan balance, up to a maximum of 2 million won per year, with a maximum of 1 million won per session, supporting twice in total.
The support scale is 125 people, and those interested can apply online through the integrated application system on the Jobaba Apply website.
