Neuralink executive Zilis announces childbirth, Musk adds heart emoji
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the U.S., has welcomed another child with Siobhan Zilis, an executive at his brain science startup Neuralink. This is Musk’s 14th child and the fourth with Zilis.
On the 28th of last month, Zilis announced via ‘X’ that she gave birth to a baby named Sheldon Lycurgus, stating that the child is very healthy and likening him to a “giant machine with a heart of solid gold.” Musk confirmed his paternity by adding a heart emoji to the post.
Musk and Zilis previously had twins, Strider and Azure, through in vitro fertilization in November 2021, and a third child, Arcadia, was born in February last year. Zilis also attended a welcoming dinner for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the U.S. with Strider and Azure. The specifics of the third and fourth births have not been disclosed.
Musk has six sons with his first wife, Canadian novelist Justine Wilson, though the eldest died from sudden infant death syndrome. He also has three children with Canadian singer and actress Grimes: two sons and a daughter. The eldest, nicknamed ‘X’, recently gained attention for appearing in the Oval Office with former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Additionally, conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair revealed on the 14th of last month that she had a child with Musk five months ago, but claims they have since lost contact, leading her to file a paternity suit.
