Rain drops in the afternoon… Heavy snow in areas like Gangwon and Gyeongbuk [Weather]

The entire country is expected to be cloudy with raindrops starting to fall in the afternoon. This rain is expected to gradually change into snow in some areas. Currently, a heavy snow advisory has been issued, and by tomorrow (3rd), up to 70cm of snow is expected to accumulate in the mountainous areas centered on Gangwon, up to 50cm along the east coast, up to 40cm in the northeastern region of Gyeongbuk, and up to 25cm in the northern part of Chungcheong. Caution is advised for both traffic safety and potential damage to facilities due to the heavy snow.
