“‘S.E.S Dispute Rumors’ Held a Family Gathering Without Shoo… Bada and Eugene Brought Their Children: ‘It Was Noisy During Lunar New Year'”

On the 19th, Bada from the group S.E.S shared that she had a pleasant time during the Lunar New Year holiday with Eugene, highlighting their mini family gathering with their children. Bada mentioned, “It was quite lively on Lunar New Year #suddenmeeting #simplehappiness.”

The two have displayed unwavering friendship since their days in S.E.S, continuing to meet warmly even after marriage and childbirth.

S.E.S, debuting in 1997, produced numerous hit songs like ‘I’m Your Girl’, ‘Dreams Come True’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Love’, ‘Just In Love’, and ‘Just A Feeling’. However, Bada recently mentioned some discord with Shoo during a live broadcast. She expressed that there might be a distance between her and Shoo because she felt the need to speak up about certain things. Bada advised Shoo to be mindful of whether there are people genuinely caring for her, emphasizing that friends who tell her only sweet things might not always be beneficial. She encouraged Shoo to come to her senses, suggesting that she could be an even more remarkable person once she does.

Shoo, who returned to the public eye after a gambling controversy, faced criticism after hosting a personal broadcast wearing revealing clothing. She was charged with fraud in 2018 after borrowing 350 million won and 250 million won from two acquaintances for gambling purposes and failing to repay them. It was revealed that from August 2016 to May 2018, she had engaged in habitual gambling, totaling approximately 790 million won primarily in Macau and elsewhere overseas. In the following year, the court sentenced Shoo to six months in prison and a two-year probation period.
