A strong cold wind is blowing. A wind warning has been issued for the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, Honam, Jeju, and coastal regions. Currently, it is -6.8 degrees Celsius in Seoul, and with the strong wind, the perceived temperature is around -13 degrees. Tomorrow, Saturday, Seoul’s morning temperature will be -13 degrees, lower than today, and the cold is expected to continue over the weekend with -10 degrees anticipated the day after tomorrow.
A heavy snow warning has been issued for Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju. As seen in the background, Jeonbuk, where a heavy snow warning has been announced, is experiencing strong snow of 1 to 3 centimeters per hour. By tomorrow, Honam will receive an additional 5 to 20, at most over 25 centimeters, Chungnam up to 10 centimeters, and Jeju’s mountainous areas up to 30 centimeters more snow.
Chungbuk and Yeongnam regions will receive an additional 1 to 8 centimeters of snow before it gradually stops in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures are expected to be -7 degrees in Seoul, -2 degrees in Gwangju, and 4 degrees in Busan, with the central regions being about 6 to 7 degrees lower than yesterday.
With a gale warning issued for most seas, waves will rise up to a very high 5.5 meters. Most areas will be clear tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, but there are places in Honam and Jeju where it will continue to snow until the day after tomorrow. This has been your weather information.
