Park Chan-dae, addressing the People Power Party, says they must “apologize for the reckless actions that shake the national system.”

[Financial News] Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 5th stated, “We urge the leadership of the People Power Party to apologize to the public and exercise restraint regarding their actions, which destabilize the national system.”

During a top-level meeting at the National Assembly, Floor Leader Park emphasized, “I hope they carefully read the indictment of the insurrection’s chief, Yoon Seok-yeol, and reflect on their shameful behavior of defending Yoon, who only spews lies whenever he opens his mouth.”

Park further remarked, “Following the December 3 insurrection incident, there has been a surge in right-wing communities and gatherings inciting insurrection and hinting at terrorist acts against prominent politicians.” He stressed the need for thorough police investigations into those who incite violence and terror, like Jeon Kwang-hoon and Jeon Han-gil, as well as those who discuss and plot such acts.

Additionally, he criticized, “The responsibility for the increased incitement to violence and terror threats lies heavily with Kwon Young-se, interim leader of the People Power Party, and Kwon Sung-dong, the floor leader.” He pointed out that, “By advocating insurrection and spreading conspiracy theories and fake news that undermine the constitution and law, the number of those who echo such ideas has grown.”

Park also condemned, “This is akin to acts done by South American drug cartels that negate the national system,” questioning whether it’s worth destroying the country entirely for early presidential elections and the desire for party leadership.
