Acting President Choi Sang-mok emphasized that all available means would be mobilized to minimize the negative impact of U.S. tariff measures on our economy and businesses. Acting President Choi made this statement during a luncheon meeting with ministers from related departments and export companies held today (3rd), noting intentions to actively communicate with the governments of the United States, Mexico, and Canada, as well as companies with a presence there.
Additionally, he announced plans to provide export financing on a record scale of 360 trillion won, along with increasing support for export promotion projects such as overseas exhibitions and trade delegations by 2.9 trillion won, up 40% from the previous year.
The government also plans to resume export strategy meetings within this month.
