Temperatures will be higher than average until this day. From the evening, cold air from the northwest will move southward, making tomorrow’s and the day after’s temperatures similar to or slightly lower than usual. As of 6 a.m., the temperatures in major areas are as follows: Seoul 1.7°C, Incheon 2.1°C, Chuncheon -0.1°C, Gangneung 3°C, Daejeon 1.8°C, Daegu -1.4°C, Jeonju 3.3°C, Gwangju 1.1°C, Busan 2.4°C, and Jeju 8°C. The highest daytime temperatures are forecasted to be between 3°C and 12°C. By region: Seoul 6°C, Incheon 5°C, Chuncheon 4°C, Gangneung 8°C, Daejeon 9°C, Daegu 11°C, Jeonju 9°C, Gwangju 10°C, Busan 12°C, and Jeju 14°C. Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in the capital area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Busan, Daegu, and Ulsan/Gyeongbuk, while other areas will remain at a 'moderate' level. However, Gangwon Yeongdong in the morning, and Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Jeju in the afternoon are expected to reach 'bad' levels. A dry weather advisory is in effect, especially along the East Coast. Strong winds mean precautions should be taken against wildfires and other types of fires.
