Mercedes-Benz Korea is offering an extended warranty benefit to celebrate the E200 luxury sedan achieving the highest score in car safety evaluations. The E200 recently ranked first in the 2024 car safety assessment (KNCAP) conducted by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority’s Automotive Safety Research Institute, receiving top scores in areas such as collision safety, pedestrian protection, and accident prevention safety.
To commemorate this achievement, Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 8th that new customers who purchase the Mercedes-Benz E 200 by January 31 will receive a free warranty extension of up to 2 years or 70,000 km. This offer, equivalent to a product priced at around 2 million won, aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Warranty Plus Advance,’ covering the same protection range. The warranty for powertrain, body, and general parts, as well as free emergency roadside assistance, will be extended to a total of 5 years or 170,000 km for new vehicles.
Lee Sang-kook, Vice President of Sales at Mercedes-Benz Korea, expressed the significance of proving the value of the E-Class through results reflecting Korean customers’ high safety standards and trust. He stated that the warranty extension is intended to convey this value to more customers and pledged to continue providing exceptional products and services.
Detailed information on the extended warranty benefit is available at 64 official showrooms nationwide. Meanwhile, ‘Warranty Plus’ extends coverage for major part repairs and emergency roadside service even after the official warranty period ends. It comes in three levels—Basic, Advance, and Extra—based on warranty scope and subscription timing. Through ‘Warranty Plus,’ Mercedes-Benz customers can extend the official service warranty by 2 years or 60,000 km, maintaining warranty coverage for up to 8 years or 210,000 km after vehicle registration. Both new and used car customers are eligible for this program.
