(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Jo Hyun-young = iM Bank customers can now conduct financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries at post offices without additional fees.
The Korea Post announced on the 26th that it has signed a ‘Shared Use Agreement for Post Office Counter Network’ with iM Bank and will provide iM Bank financial services such as deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries at post office financial counters starting from the 27th.
The Korea Post is expanding partnerships with banks to prevent the digitally vulnerable, including the elderly, from facing inconvenience in using financial services as bank branch closures accelerate.
Starting with Citibank in 1998, a total of ten bank customers, including iM Bank, can use services at post offices.
The Korea Post plans to further expand its business partnerships with the financial sector.
