(Seoul=News1) Reporter Kim Min-soo = On Friday, the 20th, the entire nation will experience cloudy skies, with some areas seeing rain or snow.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain or snow will begin from the morning in Jeju, the afternoon in the Chungnam region, and in the evening along the southern coastal areas of Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and Jeonbuk, eventually spreading across the country by the 21st.

At night, there may be spots in the central regions (excluding the east coast of Gangwon) where light rain of less than 0.1mm or snow of less than 0.1cm will fall.

The predicted precipitation amount for the 20th to 21st is: less than 5mm for northern Seoul and Gyeonggi on the 21st; around 5mm for southern Gyeonggi, Seohae 5do, Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam; less than 5mm for Chungbuk; around 5mm for Jeonbuk; less than 5mm for Gwangju and Jeonnam on the 21st; less than 5mm for Daegu, inland Gyeongbuk, and inland Gyeongnam; 5-20mm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo on the 21st; and 5-20mm for Jeju.

The expected snowfall during the same period is 1-5cm for Seohae 5do and 5-15cm in the mountainous regions of Jeju.

On the 20th, morning low temperatures are expected to range from -8 to 3°C, with daytime highs ranging from 3 to 10°C.

Expected low temperatures for major cities are: Seoul -2°C, Incheon -1°C, Chuncheon -7°C, Gangneung 3°C, Daejeon -3°C, Daegu -2°C, Jeonju -2°C, Gwangju -2°C, Busan 3°C, and Jeju 6°C.

Expected high temperatures are: Seoul 4°C, Incheon 5°C, Chuncheon 3°C, Gangneung 8°C, Daejeon 7°C, Daegu 7°C, Jeonju 7°C, Gwangju 8°C, Busan 10°C, and Jeju 11°C.

Fine dust levels are forecasted to be ‘unhealthy’ in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, and Sejong, while other regions will range from ‘good’ to ‘moderate’. However, in the morning, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongseo, and Chungbuk levels are expected to be ‘unhealthy’.
