Carrot launches VIP pet insurance plan… Offers coverage for treatment of illness and injury in pets.

(Seoul = News1) Insurance specialist reporter Park Jae-chan – Carrot Insurance (hereafter Carrot) announced on the 16th that it has partnered with the all-in-one pet SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) subscription platform Feopet to introduce a new pet insurance VIP plan.

This new plan is a key benefit of Feopet’s VIP one-year long-term membership product, providing a comprehensive solution for the health and happiness of pets.

Feopet’s VIP long-term membership plan is designed to reduce the economic burden of pet care and improve quality of life. It features an all-in-one package including Carrot’s pet insurance VIP plan and various other benefits.

This pet insurance covers 100% of treatment costs for illnesses and injuries up to an annual limit of 2 million KRW, regardless of outpatient or surgical procedures, with no daily compensation limit. The deductible is only 10,000 KRW for each hospitalization and surgery.

The coverage scope is also wide, including joint diseases like patellar luxation, dermatological and oral diseases (excluding dental treatments), and is available for pets aged 60 days to under 12 years.

Additionally, a liability special agreement covers damages caused by pets to others or their pets, with coverage available up to an annual limit of 5 million KRW, with a 30,000 KRW deductible per incident.

Furthermore, an agreement covering costs incurred for making and posting promotional materials when a pet is lost is included, with coverage up to 150,000 KRW annually.

VIP membership members receive additional benefits, such as a free annual health check-up and a 50% continuous discount benefit. Moreover, the membership fee is 100% reimbursed in mileage, with 30% of expenses at animal hospitals, grooming, accommodation, and cafes accumulated as mileage, offering economic benefits.

Also, essential pet supplies such as pads, deodorants, and snacks are delivered regularly for free once a quarter, and VIP members receive a special Black Edition Pet ID (dog registration certificate).

Noh Choong-hwan, Head of Carrot Insurance’s Alliance Marketing Team, stated, “As pet care becomes increasingly common, we are delighted to provide customized insurance services for pet owners based on Carrot’s digital innovation capabilities. We plan to continue expanding services that enrich the lives of pets and their owners through cooperation with various partners in the future.”
